Stormzy

Micheal Ebenazer Jr. born 26th July 1993 better know as his stage name Stormzy is an English rapper that won Best Game Act at the 2014 and 2015 MOBO Awards and was name the artist to look out for in the BBC's influential sound of 2015 list his most successful song to date is his Shut Up which was released as a freestyle on YouTube the track was then officially released and hit top eight on the UK Singles Charts 84.5 million after Stormzy launched a campaign to hit number one. His debut album is called Gang Signs & Prayers which was released on 24th February 2017 and was the first grime album to reach number one on the UK Albums Charts.


The 25 year old who won best album had announced that he is funding two scholarships for black British students to go to Cambridge university  he has previously been praised for social injustice included advocating on behalf of the victims of the Grenfell tower fire he is funding two places this year and two places next year. Not only sponsoring two scholarships in 2016 he donated £9000.00 to a crowd funding initiative set up by a student from south west London to enable her to study at Harvard

this year Stormzy has not only got shows in the UK like the Glastonbury Festival 2019 at Worthy Farm / west + wales and he is also going to different locations like Belfast and others.#
